Èric Boadella is an award-winning feature film, web series and Music Video Spanish director and writer. With an engineer's mind and a musician's heart, practical and creative, he directs and writes Drama and Sci-Fi projects, focusing on stories that explore the core and limits, but also the absurd, of human relations. After working as an Electronic Engineer for more than five years, he switched careers to follow his passion of filmmaking and went on to direct short films and music videos for his band, The Moon Men. In 2014, he was recognized for his first feature film, Toastmaster, winning Best Director, Best Script and acquired by Canal + at the 17th Malaga Spanish Film Festival.
Based in Los Angeles, Èric recently directed a music video starring Danny Trejo, and he is directing When We Were Alive, a Sci-Fi web series he also created. Èric is now breaking into directing for television and has been shadowing, learning and collaborating with established directors like Ken Olin (This is Us), John Stephens and Ken Fink (Gotham), and is one of the seven directors selected by the 2018 FOX TV Directors Lab, as well as a Walt Disney TV Creative Talent Development & Inclusion Fellow.
